SHOTGUN AYRE CLAY PIGEON CLUB, BLUE POINT
  Print version

The shotgun events are to be held at the Ayre Clay Pigeon Club which is situated on the northwest coast of the Island at Blue Point.  Travelling time from Douglas is approximately 40 minutes and 15 minutes from Ramsey.

The ranges cater for every shooting discipline.  Since the Championships were in the Isle of Man in 2000, a new trench layout has been added.  This was introduced for the Island Games in 2001 and will accommodate both Olympic Trap and Double Trap.  Skeet will be shot on two adjoining layouts.

A new clubhouse has also been built for the 2004 season where refreshments will be available throughout the Championships.
