...Easter 2017 dates: Friday 14th to Sunday 16th April
The Isle of Man Easter Shooting Festival represents a brilliant weekend's shooting and a chance for that perfect Easter break for the whole family in the beautiful Isle of Man.
2016 sees the Festival celebrate its 60th anniversary, its Diamond Jubilee. Over those years the "Easter Shoot" has grown and now presents the biggest range of rifle and pistol events of any British meeting. There really is something for every enthusiast, with club shooters comfortably rubbing shoulders with some of the country's top athletes. Many of the events are classified to ensure everyone taking part has the chance of going home with some awards in their bag.
The weekend is rounded off with a celebration carvery dinner at the Palace Hotel, in the centre of Douglas Promenade, on the Sunday evening where awards are distributed and friendly banter flows. Attendance is optional but there is always a good crowd and great atmosphere, with many familiar faces who come back year after year.
50 metre rifle events will be held at the Sinclair Range entirely on Sius electronic targets and are British Shooting selection events.
