The Isle of Man Easter Shooting Festival represents a brilliant weekend's shooting and a chance for that perfect Easter break for the whole family in the beautiful Isle of Man.
2018 sees the Festival alive and well, and enjoying its 63rd year. This year sees some changes from the usual format, however, in that cartridge pistol events are being organised and run directly by the Peveril Club rather than through this website. However, the usual format still applies to 50m Rifle events. Because the Commonwealth Games in Australia starts in the week immediately following Easter and a number of the people involved in the organisation will be at the Games, reluctantly it has been necessary to suspend from the Festival 10m Airgun events. Nevertheless, for rifle competitors there is the regular programme of Prone and 3 Position events across three days on the fabulous Sinclair Range. There is something for every enthusiast and many of the events are classified to ensure everyone taking part has the chance of going home with some awards in their bag. For cartridge pistol competitors the range of events on offer is bigger than ever. Just visit the Pistol 2018 page and click on the link to go straight to the details.
Also this year, for the same reasons, there will not be the usual awards dinner at the Palace Hotel on Sunday evening. Awards will be made on the Range at the completion of events.
We hope to revert to the full shooting programme and the biggest range of rifle and pistol events of any British meeting in 2019.
50 metre rifle events will be held on Sius electronic targets and are British Shooting selection events.
