Cartridge Pistol : Slieau Lhost
Ranges
All cartridge pistol events
will be held at the Slieau Lhost Range, a facility completed in 2001 with both
25m and 50m ranges. Slieau Lhost is situated on the Mountain Road (on the
TT Course) at Windy Corner, 20 minutes drive from Douglas.
The complex has four banks/20 firing points at 25m and 20 firing points at 50m,
all covered. Events
will be squadded and run over Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Equipment may be
borrowed, subject to prior arrangement.

ISSF
Standard Pistol
This is an individual competition conducted in three consecutive courses of
20 shots each. The winner receives the trophy and replica. Class
awards will be made according to entries.

Service
Pistol
This is an individual event using any centre fire pistol or revolver of .354
to .455 calibre. There are four courses of fire comprising six shots
in each. The winner will receive the trophy and replica. Class
awards will be made according to entries.

Police
Pistol 1
This is an individual competition using any centre fire pistol or revolver
of .354 to .455 calibre. There are three courses of fire, using 30
rounds of ammunition in total. The winner will receive the trophy and
replica. Class awards will be made according to entries.

ISSF
Centre Fire Pistol
This is an individual competition in 12 series of five shots: 60 shots
in total. The winner will receive the trophy and replica. Class
awards will be made according to entries.

Powder Revolver
The winner will receive the trophy and replica. Class
awards will be made according to entries.

Rifle
This is an individual competition over one course of 40 shots at 50
metres. Open to all .22 long rifle bolt action or semi-automatic
sporting rifles, with either metal or telescopic sights.
