The 50 metre rifle events will be held at the Sinclair Range, St John's. This is in the centre of the Island and approximately a 20 minute drive from Douglas. The Range has 24 permanently installed Sius electronic targets. There is a large covered firing area and a Clubhouse with refreshments throughout the day. The Clubhouse and facilities are wheelchair friendly. See the side panel for maps.
Prone events start on Good Friday afternoon with the first two squads of "Prone Day 1", which continues on Saturday morning with Squads three and four. Competitors in Competitions 3 to 6 (see entry form) should enter one of these four squads. "Prone Day 2", spanning Competitions 7 to 9, is set entirely on Sunday, again with a choice of four squads. Competitors should pick one Day 1 squad and one Day 2 squad. Saturday afternoon is reserved for 3 Position with all competitors, men and women, shooting the 3x40 course, per the 2018 ISSF rule change. If any of this seems convoluted it will be clear once you see the entry form and/or timetable graphic.
