TEMPORARY FIREARMS PERMITS
Application for Temporary Firearms Permit - See note below

The Isle of Man is not part of the United Kingdom.  It is a separate jurisdiction with its own legal system.  Airguns are regulated as well as cartridge rifles and pistols.  Manx firearms law still permits the holding of cartridge pistols.

Visitors to the Island require temporary permits for all guns and cartridge ammunition, including air rifles and air pistols.

'Application For Temporary Firearm Permit' forms can be downloaded on the link above.  Please return them fully and accurately completed to the Organisers (not direct to the Police) as early as possible with an accompanying photocopy of your FAC.  There is no fee.

The requirement for the Police to have issued a temporary permit before your arrival in the Isle of Man is mandatory and its importance cannot be over stressed.
